It's been about three years since I got my Dreadnought, and it's still performing like a champ. The only thing I've changed was I added a 240GB Samsung Evo SSD, which is used for the OS and apps. I use the 500GB HDD to park my data, and back up both to an external drive. At first I wondered how I was going to get my hands in to run the SATA cable for another drive, but found the techs at Digital Storm had already thoughtfully plugged one in to the motherboard and left the other end just where I planned to add the second drive. Getting power to it was a cinch. Glad to see the builders anticipate we might want to add both a hard drive and another optical drive, and make it easy to do so.

Great system with lots of room for future upgrades. Thinking about bumping the RAM up to 16GB, but right now 8GB has handled everything I can throw at it.

Glad to hear everything is still running smoothly! Simple upgrades like adding a SSD can add new life to a PC.
