I use HWMonitor for my CPU temps, and GPU-Z for my gpu when I want to more closely watch those temps.
Realtemp is also very popular. |

Yep, HWMonitor is a favorite. GPU-Z, msi Afterburner, realtemp, evga Precision are all good.

As bprat22 said, HWMonitor is great for all temps, Afterburner and Precision are great for monitoring and adjusting fan speeds or ocing the gpus.
If you are plaining on ocing to extreme points on the cpu and wants the best reading at high levels then go with realtemp, but below 4.5-4.8GHz oc range both realtemp and HW are the same. |

Coretemp is fine as long as you make sure to only install the main program, and not the browser toolbar that it has a checkbox for. But HWmonitor shows more info in imo a cleaner interface.

I have been happy with the V8 on my OC I7 920 and it has not had any issues with overheating so far.

I use HWMonitor and MSI afterburner to set custom fan profile for my GPU.
They seem to work fine. |
