Might be a bit early but like i did mention in my past posts i was planning on buying another computer whether it be this Christmas or sometime next summer...it depends. But regardless of when i thought i would share on what i might want to get. I may choose this case as its a tad bit smaller than what i have and at least it would be a little easier to carry around.
https://www.digitalstormonline.com/configurator.asp?id=1022305 Now i was wondering for the cpu cooler fans that i would have them as intake fans since the case is made for air cooling. I'm sure by the time i do get around to buying another pc that there will probably be newer parts out and available which is fine. So what do y'all think? |

Hi Arkansas... I think it's a real nice build. The Air 540 case is one of my favorites. The gtx 800 will be out by then but that's then.
No overclocking? The k chip and h100i cry out for it. For fan placement, I would have the rad fans exhaust out the top. The case will pump air in the front and you want the heat to exhaust out the back and top. Only time to reverse the fans is if the cpu from higher oc cools better with fresh outside air hitting the rad directly. That wouldn't be this. Looks good. |

Broadwell (Haswell die shrink), may well be out by the time you order. Last I heard, they were supposed to ship before the end of the year, but not in big quantities until after Christmas. Also, SATA Express (SATAe) and USB 3.1 should have at least decent availability. Oh, and Windows 9, which is going to have a start menu.
