your ram will not have anything to do with your OC on CPU.

I would upgrade to 2000MHz ram in a year or so and go with 1333MHz right now.

upgrade to rampage instead, it comes with a sound card so you kill 2 birds with one stone.

you will benefit from dual 280s for sure.

I would say with i7 940, you should be more like 3.6 to 3.8 with room to push a bit more yourself, so 3.5 with liquid cooling I think is pretty much a given.

That does sound good, dual 280s are too far out of range though, but dual 260s I'll be able to afford. So I guess my question now is, will I get better FPS with two 260's or one 280 on a 27' monitor?

That sounds right to me, thanks! I guess I'll be saving up for the next few weeks. I'll keep in check with this thread till then.

DST4ME and skyR, thanks for clearing up the few confusions I've had so far. Great advice/recommendations from both of you.

I actually checked newegg for those as someone suggested earlier, they were actually about the same price. So I just got them here to simplify things. Other than that, I'm not sure what I'll do for pictures at the moment. I had a very nice camera up until this weekend. I got robbed at gunpoint for everything I had at the moment, my camera was in my pocket and now it's gone.

I'll probably be able to borrow my sisters, so no big deal I guess. Just photo quality might not be top-notch, I'm not sure how good her camera is.

I've been in stage 2 since December 1st! Christmas is less than a month a way, so I could assume they have more orders than usual in or something. Does it usually take this long, they just busy?

As well, email support is starting to die since I made my purchase. I've sent four emails since November 24th and only one has been replied. As well, I've tried to call three times so far, on three different days but have had no luck, I keep catching the machine. Haven't left a message yet, but I'll try to call them again and leave a message this time if I can't get through. Anyways, here's two of the questions, not all. I'm positive that the others cannot be answered by you guys.

1. With, 'H20: Stage 3: High-Performance Liquid Chilled FrostBite System For CPU' and 'Upgrade Chassis With LED Performance Fans', will all case fan slots be filled?

2. If they would not all be filled, what can be done to get all the fan slots filled? I want to have maximum airflow while still having the processor liquid chilled.

with a 950si yes all case fans will be filled, however the HAF comes will all the fans stock.

for max airflow you should have gone with the HAF, but the upgrade of fans should get you more air.

I knew that the HAF would be better for airflow, but I still dove for the TJ09 and don't regret it. Thanks for the info though, It'll look crazy awesome will all those fans inside as well.

You'll love the 950 case which I have.  Not sure if you opted for different color schemes or not, but you can check out my review and see my pics to get an idea on the standard stuff on it.

I got a call from DS two or so mornings ago to inform me about an issue with my build. Unfortunately, the wireless card could not fit due to the size of the graphics cards or something with the mother board (I had just woken up, don't remember which one of those it was). They asked me what I wanted to do, and recommended that I buy an external (USB) one from some where else. I took the suggestion and asked for a refund of the wireless card. Hassel-free, they said okay. Checked my email later on that day and poof - $109.00 back. So I checked on Newegg to see what they had, ended up ordering a very nice one and still spared a few dollars. I think I will actually benefit from the external one, I can place it in a high location and accordingly receive better transfer rates. As well, I called DS back yesterday and spoke with Eric. I was able to get some of the BlackFriday deal. Not the paint and stuff, but the games (which where what I was actually interested in), and a refund for the overclock (I still get the overclock). Really happy about the games, honestly you have no idea!

So far I am extremely happy and satisfied with my Digital Storm experience. I'm surprised I can even say that and mean it as I don't even have the dang computer yet haha. For the record, as of now, I am in Stage 5!!

Hey, does DS count Friday as a business day? If so, it's been 13 business days. The estimated was 10, do you think that small issue with the wireless held it back? I'm guessing so, or they just got their hands full with lots of orders at the moment..?

I'm sure your delay has to do with your system's commponents and not other's order.

yes fri is a business day, sat and sun don't count.

call them or drop them an email and they will let you know.

Hmm, might not even get it tomorrow, ChristmasWink. According to FedEx tracking:
Departed Newark California on the 23rd at 5:49PM
Arrived Sacramento on the 24th at 1:57AM
Departed Sacramento on the 24th at 2:19PM
-- I'm in Scottsdale, AZ --
I don't think FedEx will deliver on Christmas. Any ideas? I'm seriously going to die if I have to wait longer due to FedEx.Sleepy

It's finally arrived! I've been on it for about 6 hours straight now and I have to say that I absolutely love it. Thanks for all the tips and stuff that helped guide my config and decisions. I'll post a review (with pics) sometime this week.

Just to get somethings out, my OC is 3.4GHz - i7 940 with LC -. It's a little lower number than I expected. My temps seem fairly low as well, so I'll probably try and push it a bit further when I get the chance. As for noise, louder than I expected but not in a bad way if you know what I mean. It's not annoying like my laptop and does not really bother me at all.

This machine really does amaze me. One more comment for now, it's freaking huge!
