basically its an h50/asetek cooler for your gpu, finally the low profile has a use!
review i read shows significantly better results than stock cooling, the problem is the price, over $200 for this is a JOKE
but its promising, its a step in a much better direction than these multi fan 3 slot consuming monstrocities that keep all the hot air inside your case anyway
ill definititely be on the lookout for future impovements to this concept

10C cooler?? slight fan adjustment will do more than that...aluminum rad and block? I knew that company was full of idiots, but wow..How could anyone be so gullible to buy that??
Great to see that high performance CPU's put out a max of 130 watts, no wonder there CPU coolers are such sh*t, someone should tell them that they can put out over 400 watts..morons
Love to see the VRM temps, ATI cards have built in temp sensors, Nvidia you have to add your own, but I imagine the temps would be worse than stock..
Why not duct tape dog poop and a fudgesicle to your card? be a lot better solution.
If you need low profile buy a low profile card, or go with a water cooled card.

Looks neat, but as Justin said - 10C cooler - I'll pass. Maybe someday there'll be a wide margin difference.

i dunno where you saw 10, looks more like 20+ to me,
and like i said, cool but not worth 200, not even close
it would be quieter as well, which matters to some (assuming the price were WAY lower)

Its intersting that you only have to buy the extra plate per GPU but ... doesnt seem like it would cool that well the way its setup.
I think I will be sending mine back to DS team to get mine water cooled. After this summer My GPU's were just to hot for comfort for me to play longer than a few hours at a time.

What case and type of cooling do you have? I live in an area that can get pretty damn hot in the summer, and cooling concerns me now when I pick up a rig |

I have the HAF 932 (Black OPS Edition) case. Its a full sized tower and has
very nice BIG fans so everything doesnt sound like a jet winding up. I live in the
high desert myself and temps outside easily reach 100F + during the summer.
This isnt a big deal normally for most but I dont have any AC at all. So Inside
ambient temps get around 85-90F(29.4 - 32 C) in the afternoon when I get home from work.
I have been just using the Noctua Dual 120mm fan set for my CPU and just stock cooling for the rest. I bought mine back last christmas and it in the winter it was fine. But like I said before it just didnt make me fell safe enough to keep playing to long during the summer nights so water cooling the GPU's is going to be my "next project".

hmm I have AC but we never use it to keep costs down. So ambient temps will be the same as yours for...well, a hefty chunk of the year. Now i'm a little worried

My 2 GPU's are the 5970's and not much space is between them so they would run pretty hot anyway. 90C was about the time I quit until everything cooled off although the fans were not always running but they would spin up for about 10-15 minutes then be quiet for another 20 or so. It just got annoying enough to make me want water cooling for the GPU's.
The CPU seemed to stay right around 48C no matter what games or anything else that I did to push it so the cpu will stay the same cooling... for now...
