why 2 raptors? 2nd hdd should be larger but slower if its just for media/personal files
drop the Bigfoot card. go upto 4GB of ram and wait for Nehalem, its suppose to overclock to 4GHz with air, I wonder what it will do with liquid cooling. even if you decide not to get Nehalem, when it comes out it should drop the prices for the current penryn chips I would get the lcd, surge protector and speakers myself, shot around and see if you find better prices. get the 4 year warranty |

not sure but go with vista 64bit, it will have its own drivers, with xp 64bit I think you will be pulling out your hair

yup that would be great, but if you want to run your games off the same drive as the OS then keep the first drive as is and make the second one the 500GB 7200rpm

ok two more questions. when is nehalem supposed to be released and I play WoW quite a bit, will going with vista lower my fps or cause and screen tearing like ive heard its prone to do?

Nehalem is coming out this month we hope.
as for WoW and vista, I don't know that, somebody else can answer that question for you, not my area of expertise |

I play WoW on 32-bit Vista and there's no tearing.
These are the reasons why tearing happens: - graphic cards overheating - drivers out of date - vsync is not on Most WoW players are not educated in computers and just quickly point the finger at Microsoft. |
