Hmm..

May be too early to tell but doesn't anyone know if the r9 295x2 will fit in the Bolt II?

If so.. Will the standard 500w PSU suffice?

I would doubt it. The card itself might fit, but it's separate 120mm rad and tubing to keep it from melting down might not fit.   The card itself draws max 500watts with a 50 amp rail so even the Bolt's optional 700w might not do it.

It will fit but in our testing, the system would draw too much power (710W full system load) so unfortunately it will not fit into the Bolt II. We recommend at least a good quality 850W PSU for the R9 295X2 which we will offer on all of our other cases.

if that is the case... how come it is available as an option now in the bolt 2 configurator?

and it says requires 760W+ while bolt 2 can only get up to 700W...

1x AMD Radeon R9 295X2 8GB (Requires 760W+ Power Supply)

Due to the nature of the configurator, it will still show up as something you can select but when the order is being processed a sales rep will call you to notify that the card does not work with the chassis due to the power supply issue.
