Hi Guys, I'm proud to announce that I ordered my first PC through DS, the BOLT 3 (Level 4). By looking at the photo It almost seems like another GPU could fit, but I didn't see an option to add SLI. Can a moderator, or someone who currently owns a Bolt 3 confirm this?

Hi 21QZ, welcome to the DS family and congrats on your purchase of a Bolt 3.
I just got my Bolt a few days ago and you are right that there seems to be enough room for a second GPU. On the back of the Bolt there are 4 add in card slots (the newer GPUs take up two slots each) and the bracket that holds the GPU in a vertical position looks like it is large enough to support two GPUs. The Bolt comes with a 600w PSU that I don't think is rated to support two GPUs. The ITX motherboard does not support SLI. DS is only offering the Bolt 3 with one GPU at this time. There might be several other reasons that I have not mentioned why DS only offers the Bolt 3 equipped this way. I'm sure one of the DS people that review post here on the forums can answer your questions. Or you could call DS and ask a technician. DS really wants you to be happy with your purchase so don't hesitate to ask questions. |

Performance matters. Non-Performance is not an option.

Hi there, all of this makes sense thank you. I'm not going to need 2 GPU's anytime soon, but knowing it's possible is a good peace of mind for future upgrades. Same with finding out the mobo is capable of supporting 32gb of dd4 ram. Anyhow I thought I'd share my config:

The ITX motherboard only has a single PCI-e slot on it for supporting graphics cards and other expansion cards. However, there are PCI-e splitters, but it gets sort of complicated.
I did a quick write-up of how this can be done in this thread. You'll need GPU's that can be single slot water cooled cards for the rear card. |

I'm going to try this S34E790C out! First 21:9 monitor I've ever owned. Anyone else have one? I know LG, Dell, & AOC have one.

Long story short I went through hell and back with this order. With having it sent back twice out my own pocket & a lot of miscommunication on DS's end. This process went from a rush order to taking almost 2 months. Am I happy now? Sure. Would I recommend to a friend? Probably not. Anyhow For what it's worth......
