I agree its an awesome game and its really nice to see something that challenges my gpu and looks amazing. 64 player conquest is soo epic! jets are cool too

im dling this now along with the nvidia beta drivers optimized for it.

Ok using fraps and averaging fps for 2 minute durations at different points during the maps here are some numbers. 56, 57, 43, 47, 53, 59, 47, 47, 57, 40, 43, 50. Also using a whopping 1507mb of vram.

My results were on ultra, 4Xmsaa, at 1920 1080

i wouldnt worry, the build everyone is playing now is a few weeks old. You prob wont be able to play at ultra but im sure it will be fine.

they will probably optimize it. and plus the drivers probably help alot. I haven't even downloaded the driver patch for bf3 for amd gfx cards and i can play on ultra fine with no aa.

I think I may preorder thru Origin if thats where we have to play multiplayer now. I would order it on newegg but no way I can wait for shipping lol

but what about minimum fps?

I see, well that can easily improve with more gpu power but lets when the game is out and how it is with the heaviest parts.

BF3 Beta update:  Just installed and ran BF3 for about 45 minutes with 23" at 1920 res on my ODE 0.  Fraps log showed a min of 28 but it averaged about 42-46 with whatever the default settings are.  I didn't see any way to adjust aa or af or gamer vs enthusiast mode.

Hi darbedo,  my ODE 0 is doing pretty darn good, IMO, with BF3 Beta.  A couple of comments up I posted my fps with Fraps.  A low of 28 fps was recorded when benchmarking but I saw a pretty consistent 42-46 or so fps with bots all over me.  Everyone agrees that mid 50s and up, 60 seems the magic number, is smooth playing, but at even 42 fps the play was smooth.  I saw no hesitation when aiming, etc.
