What do you guys think of the ASRock Z97E-ITX board? So far it's the one board that I've seen that's more future-proofed than anything out there if it comes about the Z97 chipset, and it has a couple more features than the ASUS Z97I-PLUS. Thoughts on putting that in a Bolt 2 system if a Z97 Maximus Impact is not made available?

That ASRock board does have some features like SATA Express that the Z97I Plus doesn't have. Computex is right around the corner...

Yes indeed. I'm on a tight timeline for a Bolt 2 but I also don't want to go for a Z87 Impact just to have ASUS reveal a Z97 Impact in a few days, cause then I would most definitely , come on Computex!
I read stories of ASRock failing for some, so not exactly confident in the quality of their boards. I also read that they're the third largest motherboard manufacturer which is kinda weird since not many are reviewing their boards. |

Well this won't fit in a Bolt but at least we know an Impact VII will be released from the compatibility list: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG_Front_Base/
Good news! |
