The link is underlined. It doesn't work for me either and I'm using FF. Here's what FF says when you try and open it...
"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (mhtml) isn't associated with any program".

It works in IE8, but not in FF.

Actually, if you copy and paste that exact link into the FF browser, it opens fine. For some reason trying to open it from the forum is creating this issue.

I copied & pasted the URL into another webpage in IE8 & it worked fine.
I'm very cautious about downloading programs & games that I'm not familiar with due to security concerns. How can we be certain that we're not infecting our computers with viruses, spyware, etc. if we download this Alien Arena game?

Valid concerns, especially considering that most of us have high end rigs, some with very delicate and intensively configured settings...
1.) Downloaded directly from Cnet -
A.) Download:
B.) Security info:
2.) Scanned with daily updated, modern, high end (not Norton) anti-virus program -
A.) "Update: completed 11/20/2009 12:18:25 AM, updates size: 222.3 KB events: 68"
B.) "Virus Scan: completed 11/20/2009 12:42:33 AM, events: 2, objects: 2678, time: 00:00:30"
3.) Ran a comprehensive search for concerning issues -
4.) No results found for "Alien Arena is spyware" -
5.) Almost a quarter of million sites offering download, it would have probably been blacklisted -

PS -
You'll need to actually copy and paste the above links, as the forum's HTML code generator doesn't allow the use of quotation marks in links, which are Google's precursor/end command to form exact wording or phrase searches .

Wow! Thank you very much, JoeVideo. I trust Cnet and am really glad to learn that Alien Arena is on their downloads section.
