Has anyone use any of the Aerocool Dead Silence Case Fans? They have plastic and rubber construction. I don't know how that effects their longevity. They have great specs. That DS on the hub would look great in a DS computer.
140mm Fan RPM/12v = 1000 RPM CFM/12v = 64.8 CFM dba/12v = 14.2 dba RPM/7v = 700 RPM CFM/7v = 39.8 CFM dba/7v = 10.8 dba What do you think? Frank Edited by FrankW - 09 Dec 2014 at 9:28am |

If those dba specs with the cfm airflow hold up then they are a fan to look into.

I looked around and I couldn't find the 140 fans with these specs. The 140 Aerocool fans I found had a 12v rpm of 1500. Of course the dba readings were also higher. They do have a 7 volt pin you can install that reduces the voltage to 7v and around 1000 rpm. They have a 100,000 hour MTBF. The be quiet fans that had close dba readings have a 300,000 hour MTBF.
