If you're only using one monitor at that res I REALLY don't think you'd need two 580's, maybe one, if anything just one 570 with the possibility of going sli with that in the future if you find you really need to

Well no just that multiple monitors usually require sli in that two monitors need a lot of power from the video card(s) to both be running together

i think the system is fine, if u want a high end gaming pc. i am pretty sure if u get sli 570 or just go with ur build. u not gonna need to upgrade ur system for atleast 3-4 years, if u continue to use that monitor, or even of u get a second same size monitor ull be fine for sure! :)

haha bro.. u dont know the power of sli 580! :) but ye pretty much. bf3, guild wars 2, gear wars 3 and diablo 3, u can max them out for sure! but if u add a second monitor u should still max the setting out for those games but maybe not for others that will come out in a few years. and dont take my word yet... but u should still wait till the pros confirm. couse i might mistaken about something, but its not too big tho, ik for sure that even sli 570 will max out those games on ur res, but the thing that makes me wonder is a second monitor. but dont worry to much, u should expect similar answer from the pros or even better. i heard that even 1 570 can max out those games on that resolution, maybe ur over doing it? i cant think right now, its night! lol :)

multi-tasking, like gaming and watching youtube or something lol, there's no way you'd need to waste your money on two 580s... one should be fine for a long time and if anything just buy a new one in the future (cause it'll be cheaper anyway) and install it yourself, which is completely easy

570s in SLI is enough for 1920x1080, maybe take a look at ode 3?

SLI'd 570s would be better than one 580, yeah, but that's overkill for 1 monitor at 1920x1080. At 2560x1600, that's reasonable, but I'd say stick with a solo 580.

I believe that motherboard can support 2 card SLI, not sure about triple.

The ODE3 would do you well, but if you wanted to hit your budget on a normal build, you could easily stick CPU/1 GPU liquid cooling in your original build. Also, that original build should be hitting higher processor and graphics clocks and therefore performance.

is there anything wrong with overkill such as sli 580s on 1920x1080 and the RAM?

let me put it to you like this, I can come in the middle of the night and replace the ram with the ram in my config, and sli 580 with sli 570 and you would never notice the difference the next morning if nobody told you, so in short, you are throwing your money away.

you also don't need the lc, as you can see in my config its on air.

once a month or once every 5 months you may need to add fluid to the reservoir, which is very easy.

once every 3 years its best to flush the system.

of course but if you res is at 1900 x 1200 or lower, you would get the same performance with sli 570 and you would not notice the difference.
