I'm looking into getting a new PC. I like the level 4 Eclipse but I have a few questions. Is it going to be powerful enough to handle newer games on a 27" monitor at 1920x1280? I guessing it won't be a problem but it never hurts to ask. Also I'm going to be doing some photo editing will it be able to handle RAW files from an 18 megapixel DSLR.

Hi Zuesman22... Welcome to the forums.   Looks like I kept missing your post.

The Eclipse level 4 with its gtx 970 will game great on your monitor. Can't promise max gaming on Ultra settings with all games but most will be High to Very High.   It is one of the best without getting into sli, 2x graphics card. The size of the screen doesnt matter to the video card, just the resolution.

For photo editing your RAW files, the i5-4690k with its moderate overclocking will certainly handle it. To be honest, there are other processors like the i7-4790k with its hyperthreading and more threads that will process them a few percentage points quicker.   The much more expensive x99 platform with 6 core 5820k and quad channel memory will handle the editing even faster. But, it's all about the budget and the Eclipse lvl 4 will get the job done. The Ecipse and similar Vanquish level 4 are best bang for your buck.
