@Frank I know there's different components contributing to the heat output but is there a way to estimate the temperature over ambient that config would generate at stock, OC1, and OC2? Trying to determine what level of OC would produce the optimum up time vs performance. At what temps dŒs the system start to redline? Lower OCs would push me more towards a prebuilt lower cost config.

@tybalt Ive looked at the ODE L4, and I agree its a great value but if I'm going to go to that cost level, there's certain things I'm looking for which the ODE dŒsn't have.

Based on a review in MaximunPC and all the reviews on this forum from happy customers, I just ordered the following laptop to play Microsoft Flight Simulator FSX and Microsoft Flight. I know a desktop would have more horsepower but my situation is that I can only have a laptop. Hopefully, it will fly (pun intended)

As you said, you wanted a high end gaming rig and this is basically
going to give you the same performance due to games not really needing the 16gb of ram, and the 3930k.

You should go with the Dreadnought because it is the best air cooling case + Get the intel 520 120gb ssd over the Corsair SSD. You won't need the led performance fans and drop the 2000MHz Ram to a 1600MHz. You won't notice a difference.
I don't really know the difference between the Home premium and premium so I'll wait for another reply

Yep, tju76 is about right. Testing I've seen shows very little difference and for sli at your resolution you'll never see the differrnce. It's not much more for the oc version and it is done on the bench at manufacturring so is covered by their warranty and is tweeked for it...so your choice. But why sress a card if not needed.

SC on average might give you an additional 5-7 fps, "don't quote me this is from my memory of a post i read on OC Forums

Hi I think im looking at going with DS for one of the Dreadnought level 4 computer builds to stay around 4k for a high end gaming rig. I have been in chat for 40 mins and I suppose they don't care about orders. Is this what you can normally expect from DS?
