Yeah you will have to add it to your order via phone, that is what i did it is $500.00 on top of the Regular liquid cooling and i would say it adds on 2 weeks to your order to have it done. Well from my Experience anyways.

It's been a while since I had a chance to post some photos.

I'm going to try to make it a weekly thing again. Today this Aventum system that a customer ordered caught my eye. It's a fully tricked out machine, i7 3970X with our Cryo-TEC cooling system. I has three GTX TITAN graphics cards in triple SLI. Basically a "beast" of a machine!

I really really really wish I seen this white case sooner I love it more then the blackmy own fault to they where out of black and they offered me a white one but the pic they sent me was just the case and by it self it was ugly but as soon as DS started thier magic its so awesome

it really brings out the blue and mine is going to be all red it would have brought that out to more then the dark case

Well, I didn't purchase the computer because I found out that my little ole' apartment couldn't handle it. But yes, I spoke with someone in sales during the purchase process and I was emailed a document which I needed to print, sign, then scan/fax back to DS. I would have had to have complete this document in order for the sale to go through. I know MagiK (The first customer to review Cryo-Tec ever, I believe) also had to sign this paper work. I changed my order and switched over to Mr. Bojangles, and like you I could not be happier with my DS purchase and thats really all that matters.

Tidgxor I received one of the very first ones released. My system was at DS for Cryo-Tec upgrade, waiting for it to be released to the public. The first ones had the alumnium plate finish, had that, then upgraded to the glossy Black Red led that says DigitalStorm. Now DS has changed back to the alumnium finish, 3 revisions I know of. Not one time was it mentioned to me. Tidgxor you mentioned a form.Was this emailed to you,did it come with your computer,did they tell you over the phone? Oh well, its in the past. Its awesome computer, could not be happier !!!!!!!!! .

As was warned as well, in fact back when I was considering purchasing the Cyro-Tec you had to physically sign a form acknowledging the power consumption. This was back in 2010 though, when they had first rolled it out, before the revisions they've made since. So I don't know if you still have to do that or not.

Caver a 20amp circuit breaker will be fine for your 1200 watt power supply. I had that before I upgraded to a Cryo-Tec system.When I turned on the Cryo-Tec for the first time it lasted 2 seconds, then the lights went out in the computer room.It popped the circuit breaker. It would not reset.The electrician came and pulled it and it was burnt,fried.He recommended changing wall plug and circuit breaker to 30 amp to carry the extra load. I think Digital Storm needs to warn customers who buy Cryo-Tec systems of this problem, at least be aware of it.

For the non-cryo version (just aventum liquid cooling) I only needed 1 plug, I did however, put it on it's own breaker.

From what I -understand- (and this isn't law) you don't have to have 2 plugs for certain (as in separate outlets) but it is highly recommended because it is based on your home wiring.

I could be wrong.

SpicierMire dont forget you will have to replace you home circuit breaker and wall plug.I have the Corsair 1200 and 800 watt psw ,Cryo-Tec system. A 20amp circuit wont handle it. I had to change to a 30amp circuit breaker and wall plug. It burnt my 20 amp out. It has to be a dedicated line, nothing else.

It was! Er.. IS. But.. sometimes when my professional solitaire tournaments are offline I have to divert to 'lesser' gameplay. I mean.. I just can't top Solitaire at 1000 FPS.

True about heat...wonder if there is any way you could run Cryo to 2 cpu's? If it can get a single to below 0C, seems like it could keep 2 overclocked to manageable temperatures. Didn't know if that would be possible or not. I'd love to see those benchmarks though, lol.

It's done by a third party, we try to limit the number of colors as it's quite expensive to do paint systems, and we have to do it in batches to make it more cost efficient.

It is done by a third party. As I was explained to you can do just about any color you want. Different colors cost more. It also adds to your build time by an undetermined amount.

@shawnj11558, you may have to pay a premium to get the HydroCopper cards since we may have to special request them. We use what we can get from current market availability.

@Err0xx, the photos are random shots of a few Aventum builds while they were in testing. I'm sure yours will look just as good depending on how you have it configured, etc...

DŒs DS sell extra gtx 680 hydro coppers to customers with builds? It is pretty hard if not impossible to find them anywhere else these days. I'll be def going for quad sli gtx 680s hc's even if it means buying a stock 680 and the waterblock separate.

The bottom of the case is the Indirect Case Lighting.You can change the color and very the intensity from a strobe to solid color both inside and outside of case with 2 small separate, controlling separate zones, remote controls about the size of a credit card. I think there is 5 or 6 colors in the menu. The lighting bolt LED is just some more BLING for that over the top look.

But this just completely destroys all expectations...
However... I don't want to know the price if it exceeds an extra $300 (which I guess it dŒs).

I just wanted to state that our team has been very busy with all of our new upcoming products. We do post pics here and there when we can (featured builds for example). I think it's great the team actually has this section and we're able to post unique builds once in a while. It's difficult sometimes because the builds can be very similar, so we tend to post up pics of really unique and extreme builds only.

We do have a great number of photos of each system we feature in the "Gallery" tab for new customers. Yet, I do agree, more is always good! I'll definitely let the team know. We could add more!

Also, as a side note, the ones we have shown are a demo unit, it isn't an actual customer's system. There is a delay on the HydroCopper edition by EVGA which may push it out another 1-2 weeks at least.

To help with pending orders, we have ordered full coverage Koolance blocks that we can install on the GTX 680 cards. I'm sure the team will be contact you about this.

That looks like a Hailstorm throwback to the new kid on the block, haha, absolutely sick! I thought I was seeing a pre-release until I noticed the picture wasn't flipped.

Are you guys planning to do the whole logo + "DIGITAL STORM" by any chance on the sides of the new guy or is the front grille logo already enough? It just looks so epic on this Hailstorm.

This build may look similar to some of the other ones recently posted, but that's just because that "type" of build is so awesome and has been very popular for us. The cool thing that stands our from this build is that this customer has requested us to install special fill ports and drain ports on the build. It features our Cryo-TEC cooling system and special ordered fans. I featured the drain ports in a previous post (work in progress), but, the entire unit is now complete.

I wonder if my system that is currently under build would make it on here. I dont know if its considered an extreme build as it only has CPU liquid cooling. But it dŒs carry the new X79 Deluxe with three 2.5 570 GTXs...

I love how this build on our HailStorm chassis uses white tubes. This was a system that an older customer sent in for upgrades, he went with our Cryo-TEC system!

I got the same thing, its pretty simple you have a quick disconnect installed at the bottom of the loop and then you can just disconnect and stick one of these tubes with the male or female at the end and just connect to it instead and drain fluid, you can have a T line installed or a drain valve if you wanted.

That is a very handy thing for maintenance I'd say. Seems like flushing and cleaning the tubes and replacing the coolant would be pretty hassle free that way; great idea there. I'd love to see some more pictures of that rig. especially where the valves are that would allow for the coolant to flow out of the system. good stuff guys!

I went around the facility yesterday and took some pictures of a few interesting things I think will be nice to share.

Checkout this really cool setup of red and blue wire sleeving for a customer's Cryo-TEC build, it reminded me of Superman.

We started to mount the Cryo-TEC temperature LCD on the front bay of the HailStorm chassis:

One of our build engineers routed the tubing for the pump and reservoir in a really clean and sleek way for a Cryo-TEC build:

For the curious, you will see the material that is used to prevent condensation on the CPU by isolating the entire block:

I have a special system to feature today with everyone!

This system has to be one of our most extreme builds, featuring two of the fastest six-core Xeon CPUs, a ton of memory, and four, that's right, FOUR GTX 590's. Our customer is not using this system as a gaming PC, but, rather as a high-end GPU based computing workstation. Both of the processors and video cards are all liquid cooled inside our Syndicate chassis.

Ya that pc is for people like me, power users, I can put all those cores to full work before you can even say full work too bad they can't hold 8 gpus. and if they did too bad my circuit can't handle it. its already not happy with these 4

A dual CPU configuration is mainly for users looking for an unbelievable amount of number crunching power. This may due to applications or other utilities that a customer may require. Usually two CPUs will not gain a whole lot of performance for games.

Sorry about that guys, there's a new product we're launching soon and we've been very busy with that (http://www.bit.ly/mrBXiR). But, I'll makeup for the lack of updates with three images.

I wanted to share some of our high-performance workstation based gaming systems that we build for customers. Here's a picture of two workstations:

This system includes a dual CPU configuration of Intel's Xeon processors based on EVGA's SR-2 motherboard. This is inside a Digital Storm Syndicate chassis. In addition, you're looking at two GTX 590's that are liquid cooled in Quad-SLI.

Some customers like to go with air cooling. The picture below is actually a customers system based on a new chassis that we're going to launch our new PROTUS refresh with.

To top it off, look at how we test all of that horsepower. That's right, those are 24 threads running in Prime95!

have you guys tried looking up any other fans besides those? I'm looking to some of Bitfenix's Spectre's when I eventually swap to a RV03, they appear to have an excellent CFM to noise ratio, as well as coming in black, white, and LEDs in 4 colors.

@Vaude,

The LED fans we use are performance fans which push a ton of airflow (high CFM). They are noisy compared to stock fans because of that.

your gonna hear mixed opinions but sli is finicky enough waiting for driver support etc. Having 2 gpu's on one card is even more of a headache. Id sooner go 3 580's then 2 590's. Best bang for ur buck and something you can actually feel like u didnt waste ur money is 2 570's in sli

To my knowledge, SLI only supports 4 GPU's so you can't go above 2 590's.

We can get the clock rates close, but, not up to the GTX 580s.

We're going to start a weekly thread where we post the most amazing elite builds by our customers here at our facility.

Let's kick things off with a high-end TEC liquid chilled system pumping below 0'C freezing fluid on the CPU with a liquid cooling configuration of two GTX 590's in Quad-SLI. By the way, you'll notice we modified the Corsair 800D to fit two power supplies as well.
