i wouldnt submit a general order unless you know exactly what you are having done.. granted i have not ordered from dso for quite a while... anyone can hit problems by trying to change things late in the game, if you know exactly what you want, it shouldnt be a problem.. if there is more to iron out, id wait for the call

McStrav and Ender, thanks... I needed to hear that. Wonder what all the Signature edition is going to include....I think we have 2x Triple Rads internal, Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans....and??? Now that I have definitely decided to do this with DS...I can't wait to get started!

I hear ya man, I placed my order maybe 2 weeks ago, in that time I changed out the CPU, the Mobo and now put it on hold for the signature edition, DS has been very accomodating through all of it, I can't think of another company that would do for it's customers what DS is doing

We're also planning a special cooling system for the 'Black|Ops' signature system. And it isn't just liquid cooling

Lets see...Liquid Nitrogen would still be liquid...so umm Peltier? Those always seemed like an obvious choice to me but Ive always worried about their reliability... but that was years ago.

I know Alex said that the phone crew was off for the holiday yesterday, and that normally the production team would of been but they were working overtime to catch up on sales orders. It's likely to either be either the same for today or they're just all in panic mode trying to handle all the business from the weekend holiday sale. If you're in a big enough hurry and haven't already, try emailing Alex or management about it directly, I've seen Alex popping onto the forums here and there today.

Hmm, this is curious. lol there is not a phase change on the market worth a crap, and the only person I know that makes a good one is Scott Dumper, but he makes 2-4 a month lol. Tec's are too small, and multi TECs is to complicated to make work on a 24/7 setup, a water chiller works, but most are noisy, when you get to the 300+watt versions, and has minimal gains due to having o keep the water above the dew point, and because everyones home will have different ranges of dewpoints.. hmm

Talked to Sarah today, looks like it will be best for me to wait till they publish the new Signature setup before ordering anything....soooooo more waiting....feel like a kid waiting for christmas To help keep me busy I think Ill order some Gentle Typhoon fans for im my current system, its getting a bit loud. Anysuggestions for a good Socket 775 cooler that is effective and doesnt sound like a jet engine?

MagiK, you HAVE TO upload pics when you get this monster rig, not only of the rig itself, but stuff like cpu-z and stuff would be awesome

al3xLJ:Crysis ism't really my kinda game. Oblivion, Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3 and flight sims are more my speed....oh and games like Civ. so I have Prime 95, any other benchmarking stuff people are interested in McStrav:I was going to pester him about once a week on that issue

How about instead of pestering Alex about configurations, we try politely inquiring about certain system specfic elements that are being discussed by both him and the teams to give us a picture about what's going to be potentially included with the builds?
It's all about wording
