I bought my rig from DS in May. I have not had any issues until now. I'm having a drivers recovery error. Until today everything worked fine.
I did the basic stuff..did a restore to a previous save point updated to the newest non beta drivers restarted the machine. Nothing. I continue to have the same problems. my game stop having graphics loaded, and errors out. I get a glitch and lose video until it "recovers the drivers" and then continues. This is not what I had in mind when paying 2k for a nice computer. I have adjusted nothing since it left DS. This has left me very upset. rough specs 1k psu 2500k deluxe asus mobo. |

Parts go bad all the time, I have not had my pc for even a year and already have had 3 psu changes, 1 dvd, and that is just my DS pc, in my other on DS pcs, and my life time of owning pcs, I have had so manythings go out, pumps, hdds, ram, gpus, psus, mobos, waterblock crack, etc, lol.
in short I understand your frustration, but don't be upset, its part of owning these pc parts, they go bad after a while, some do and somes don't, I hope you have not been messing with it for too long, call DS if you have not or email them and they will take care of you. in the meantime, turn pc off(disconnect from the wall), remove gpu from mobo and disconnect power cables, then gently make sure the gpu is firmly seated back on the mobo and connect its power cables back, then connect pc back in to the wall and see how that goes, if you have not use Driver Sweeper, what you do is install driver sweeper, download new drivers, uninstall old drivers, reboot to safe mode, run driver sweeper and check everything gpu related (graphics and 3d, not chipset), let it clean it, then reboot to desktop and install new drivers you downloaded. if both of those does not fix your issue DS will get your gpu and then send you a new one, or you can give them your cc, and they charge you for the gpu and will send you the gpu first, and when you get it, you send the old one back, when they get the old one, they will refund the cc, thats what I do all the time, since I don't want to wait for them to get my parts first then send me the new one. |

so the card is going bad its not a drivers error?
I did some research. It sounds like the Drivers are bad, or the OC's are unstable. Based on at least 4 different drivers having this issue, I'm going with the OC is unstable. Some have played with OC/voltage both ways (factory or increasing) They have had mixed results. I've seen posts with 570s/580s having these issues as well. Although Gigabytes seem to be the most well found for brands experiencing this issue. Edited by Purecarnagge - 20 Sep 2011 at 10:12am |

Its not drivers, is your gpu oced?
you can't go by others cause these symptoms can mean different things, if your gpu is not oced, then don't touch it, if it is oced then reset the gpu to default but if DS oced your gpu then 99.99999% sure its not the oc. Edited by DST4ME - 20 Sep 2011 at 1:02pm |

Its not the oc then its the gpu itself, Call DS they will replace it for you if the things I mentioned didn't fix it.
