Topic: 360 Mod Posted: 20 Apr 2010 at 3:55pm |
hmm anyone think its possible to do more than just a Liquid Cooling / LED modding to a Xbox 360?
Reason I ask is because I'm looking for a summer project to do, and since Cataclysm Beta probably won't be open for a while I will have nothing to do , everything will be on farm. So, thought Moddifying my Xbox 360 would be neat. Already have some LED's in it, and looking into the Liquid Cooling for it at the moment. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to share :) |

I have an idea:
How about you repaint it with gloss paint and make some designs? |

LCs, finds boot drive, messes with it, overclocks 360, pwns all in MW2, muhuhahahaha....LOL
aight, now to be serious... I'd say one of the coolest mods you can do is to take a table, and fully integrate the internals of a 360 into it. As in, rip the internals out of the 360 itself, build a PC-like modification area in the table, and mount the internals in it. Table-integrated Xbox ^^ Or better yet, gut a large laptop case, and stick the 360 internals in THAT. Or just make a portable box for it yourself. Also find a way to stick in some sort of high-capacity 12v battery. Dunno whether the thing uses 12v or not, if it uses 115AC, just get one of those car inverters. After that, you'll have yourself a portable XBOX and will be revered as a geek on your block, but an AWESOME geek at that Edited by ablahblah - 21 Apr 2010 at 4:11pm |

Lol. But that's actually pretty cool. You could get a 17 inch and with full HD but crappy specs. Then when you connect the 2 you will be playing at full HD on a 17 inch laptop screen!

That's a good idea! Instead of connecting it to a laptop you could connect it to a ds system!

basicly im going to take a case (not sure what of or what from ) or just make one , and make it so I can put 2 xbox motherboards in there, that will both operate at the same time, on different screens at the same time :P if It works will make Jtagging a hell of a lot easier, and would actually be pretty nice if I can import both of the screens into the case that wil be housing the motherboards!
Edit: Finished my LC on the one Xbox too, looks really nice, Have it all internally, very very very quiet, just a little note I had RRoD before I started with the LC and it wouldn't run more than 5min, been running it for 20hrs so far and no problem :P wish they would make LC standard on some Xbox models XD And bought another one yesturday off a friend of mine, will be turning that one into a Jtag tonight!
