A raid setup requires two identical drives. You may choose either from a Raid 0 (Performance) setup which enhances hard drive performance by combining two drives into one. A Raid 1 (Mirror/Backup) setup only displays hard drive 1, while hard drive 2 is identically cloned with what ever contents hard drive 1 has in real-time.
